Knafo Asher (1935-) Born in Morocco (Mogador), lives in Israel. Educator, editor of the Jewish Moroccan periodical Brith, he is also a calligrapher specializing in Mogadorien style Ketubot (marriage contracts). He is the author of A Cantor at Mikveh (2010), The Poet, the Taciturn and the Storyteller (2006), and A Jewish Wedding in Mogador (2004), among other books.
